I’m here to help you make changes, feel better, and move forward in your life.

Beth Klein, MS, LMFT, Feminist Therapist
Serving MN, WI, & SC

Something’s brought you here today.

Maybe it’s the nudge from someone close to you. A big life change that’s thrown life out of whack. Or just the realization that you don’t want to feel this way anymore.

Whatever it may be: you’re in the right place.

As your therapist, I will cheer you on toward a life of purpose, freedom, & meaning.

I work with women who are driven by a desire to see change—in their relationships, in themselves, and in the systems and society around them. They view therapy as an investment not only in their own wellbeing, but in that of their families, friendships, and communities.

Therapy with me is a way to get back in touch with your values and that deeper purpose that you know is there, but maybe haven’t been living out lately. Questioning where your career is headed? Let’s look at the bigger picture and what you want to accomplish with your life, as well as the societal systems that might be holding you back. Tired of replaying past conversations over and over, analyzing and overthinking every little decision? We’ll dig into the unhelpful messages you’ve been told that are keeping you stuck.

Because once you begin to identify these things, you can begin to change them.

My approach

Therapy with me is

  • I’m not a “sit and listen” kind of therapist. I show up to each session ready to engage with you, make observations, and equip you with tools & techniques that you can put into practice in your day-to-day life. I limit the number of clients on my caseload in order to be fully committed to you and your progress.

  • If you’re not living in a way that’s aligned with what’s truly important to you, you will struggle to ever feel fulfilled. Our work together will always begin by identifying your individual values, goals, and desires. These serve as our North Star in overcoming the challenges you’re facing.

  • My goal is to work myself out of a job: to help you experience a level of growth and progress that you no longer need to be in therapy (at least for right now). We’ll work hard together, we’ll make things happen, and you’ll be able to continue moving forward.

  • Maybe you’re working on reconciling feelings of guilt related to privilege or are experiencing sexism or oppression in the workplace as a woman or member of a marginalized community. As a social-justice-oriented and feminist therapist, I’ll support you in looking at the deeper systems at play in your experiences.

  • All of the methods that I use are based on research. Using evidence-based treatment in therapy ensures that interventions and techniques are grounded in rigorous research and proven effectiveness. This approach offers clients the best chance for meaningful progress and positive outcomes by utilizing methods that have been shown to work reliably in addressing their specific concerns and promoting lasting change.
